Miniature (David Charles Zlesak, United States, 2001)
***Still Growing – Status update in April 2025***
This is a mini that really pops. Hannah Ruby’s flowers are a red blend with white centers that contrast its medium, semi glossy foliage. The effect is quite eye catching. Flushes of blooms come all growing season.

A cheerful little rose for the front of the border. Mine is in front of Dame de la Coeur, and it looks very sweet there. I received this plant in spring of this year, and it’s done very well in its first growing season in my zone 7 humid garden. It’s in a south-facing bed and seems to like the sun. It blooms often and the flowers are adorable.

So happy with this cutie! She’s doing fantastic in partial shade, and makes quite a show nearly continuously every summer in my PNW garden. Absolutely covered with flowers and definitely eye catching. Requires very little attention and is fairly resistant to blackspot. Mine is 3 years old and the mound is tidy and approximately 2’ tall and 3’ wide.
