Exceptionally hardy!! I got this rose from Split Mountain Farms as a gallon size grown up from a High Country band, and it took right off. I planted it under a window to grow up and around both sides, and then my husband put in a swamp cooler and flooded the spot. Didn’t matter to Polestar. It just kept growing in the puddle. The pretty delicate blooms remind me of apple blossoms.

Ultra-hardy! Grew mine at 9,100’ along an 8’ privacy fence. Canes quickly reached over 10’. Remember to train those canes horizontally to promote more blooms.

Absolutely love this rose! I live in the Sierra Nevadas and our last frost date is June 21st. Polestar is unfazed by late frosts!
