Fragrant, soft pink, double blooms in mid-season repeat nicely. Vigorous, well- proportioned shrub with grey-green foliage and red fall color, growing with an upright vase shape to 6 feet. Very hardy.
This Canadian Explorer rose is named after Sir Martin Frobisher (c. 1535 or 1539 – 15 November 1594) an English seaman who made three voyages to the New World to look for the Northwest Passage. All landed in northeastern Canada, around today’s Resolution Island and Frobisher Bay.

One of the loveliest Rugosas in my opinion! I love the pastel pink and yellow with the white. It rebloomers really well and is healthy to boot!

I put this rose in a spot that might not be ideal with a neighbor’s tree roots infiltrating the area, thus is hasn/t grown very large yet. But is flowers are really beautiful and fragrant and each year it gains a bit more size. I can wait, the flowers are worth it.
