This rose is a great climbing rose with a good scent and amber-yellow roses. Because this climber has a Floribunda (Julia Child) as a parent it produces a large volume of branches and blooms. The blooms eventually fade to buff. The flowers are not diminished by heat.

What a beautiful rose. Planted at the beginning of June and flowered in August. The prettiest yellow. Then I had to go out of town for a few days and something ATE it! To the ground! They wanted to replace it but it’s not their fault. I will order this rose again and protect it better. They were really good with trying to help me.

Very beautiful coloring but it’s been very slow to establish for me. I’m hoping year 3 brings amazing things!

Culpeper, Va, mine has been in the garden for 5 years and it is not climbing at all, somewhat disappointed but I do love the fragrance and color. I might need to give it another pep talk some spring

A very beautiful rose. Golden Opportunity is much slower grower than the other climbers I have adopted; it appears to grows at the pace of a regular shrub rose.

This rose is wonderful! I have it on a south wall in full sun in zone 7 and it has very few problems w blackspot and blooms frequently. My area is very humid so I do have to treat it with insect and disease control and keep pruning the lower branches for good airflow. However this rose is healthier than all my other roses and needs less spraying. The scent is very good too.
