Katherine –
Flourished in AZ’s heat and dryness! Out of the eight varieties I planted in spring of ’24, this one grew larger throughout the 100-115+ F summer and only seemed to stagnate during the hottest few weeks at the end of June and beginning of July when it was consistently over 110. Two of the other varieties didn’t make it and the rest struggled and had longer periods of no growth. They were all planted, fed, and watered the same. Had the same amount of light everyday. So, it just seems like this one is especially heat tolerant. Nice long, upright growth. Fairly dark green leaves. It hasn’t flowered yet but I’m sure it will once the weather cools.
