Hybrid Tea (Johnston, United States, 1962)
***Still Growing – Status update in April 2025***
First discovered in the Windy City, this brighter and deeper-toned sport of the famous Peace rose has a fine reputation that follows in the footsteps of its parent. It possesses the same large opulent flowers, the same big quilted glossy apple-green leaves, and the same handsome bushy plant.
Note: This rose may require a May shipping date to ensure adequate root development.

I am growing this in zone 5, and it is such a unique rose! The blooms are so large — some as big as my hand — and the ombre color effect of pink and apricot is very pleasant! I like this one better than Peace.

I have Chicago Peace and Peace, always excited to see when they’re blooming in different stages of weather temperatures because they will surprise you the color and mostly giving me big buds equals Big Blooms. I love the fragrance too. I grow them in pots, full sun ☀️ at front yard and mail lady , man enjoying sniffing my roses at front when it’s Spring time to fall. They always smile when they see new collection 😁. Zone8a NC
