Hybrid Tea (Tom Carruth, United States, 1998)
Sometimes it takes a jewelers loop to fully examine the worth of a gemstone. But this jewel of a Hybrid Tea flower is soooo big, you won’t need any help to see the impeccable beauty of its classic show form and pearly colors. Her many blooms almost look sculpted from fine porcelain. Yet they’re held atop all-too-real cutting stems clothed with large dark green leaves. Prefers some heat to bring out the best form.

Gorgeous huge blooms with near perfect form. If you like a traditional look to your rose garden this will fit it with just a little bit of fun with the petal tip color. In the hot climate I am, in the roses are tipped in pink during the summer months but had a more lavender color when it was cooler. No disease issues noted.

The blooms from moonstone and so big. She is such a healthy rose. Her form is my favorite

A true hybrid tea because on one hand I could not believe how exquisite this rose bloom is – perfect form with pale pink tipped outlined with darker pink, but it is a super slow grower, not many blooms for me, that take forever to open. I almost gave it 4 stars for its slowness but it takes time to make perfection, plus slow blooms mean bigger blooms. The solution is to buy multiple plants, like I did.
