Bought this in March and it arrived in April. As soon as it arrived I planted it in a terracotta planter and it has taken off. It has grown to almost 2 feet tall in it’s first season and it put out a beautiful flower show in June/July. Smells amazing.

Really nice fragrance! And the flowers are BIG, like 6″ across. Also, the blooms last a while once they open, like 2-3 weeks. This seems like a great rose to tuck into a narrower space. The pastel orange of Over the Moon looks fabulous contrasting with magenta flowers like Sonoran Sunset Hyssop or the dark pink of Perfume Factory.

Over the Moon surprised me. Huge blooms that last, smells amazing, and the color is gorgeous. It is definitely one of my favorites in the garden.

I shovel pruned this one. It had huge and gorgeous blooms but they shattered the same day they opened. I’ve heard this is a problem in hot and dry climates. Worth a try but did not work for me.

Great big blooms the very first year it was planted.

This rose does not slow down; either in the oppressive heat of summer or the cold of December. I love in a very very hot, dry climate in zone 8, where summer temperatures reach 100°+ for several months in a row. Over the Moon kept flowering when others had shut down. Though the blooms do not last long, they are quickly replaced. The blooms last longer if you take them in from the heat; and they are a lovely cut flower. Clip below:
