Showy, single red orange flowers with yellow reverse cover this tall shrub in spring. Sometimes produces all yellow flowers. Suckers cheerfully, if allowed, making it useful for nearly impenetrable hedging.

I was so drawn to the pictures, but two seasons in and the plant I got still has had no flowers, also it has barely grown it is a bit bushier but very small, a tiny small shrub with delicate little leaves aphids love, so not very disease resistant either, although I have manually removed the aphids and applied lots of ladybugs to it, but I guess they don’t like it either. It gets sun, and the same nutrition and water as my other roses that are thriving, I thought I was getting a tough and resilient plant, so disappointed.

Hi, thanks for your review. It sounds like we need to send you a replacement rose. I’m sorry it hasn’t thrived. We’ll try again. Thanks, Matt

I ordered this rose five years ago. Fell in love with the color of the rose. I live in a zone 4b in Wisconsin. Planted it in a temporarily spot until I found the perfect place. I created a huge garden that surrounded the front yard with a new fence line. Planted the rose with it’s sister roses (yellow) along the driveway. They are finally about four feet tall and wide. Had the perfect bloom on the rose shrub. Hoping the three roses just get better with time. Ordered five more roses this spring all doing good in colors of red, deep red almost maroon, and white. All have grown at least two feet tall this summer. Neighbor’s just adore the rose garden couldn’t believe that roses exist for our area of zone 4b. Will share this coming summer with picture’s of each rose.

I love love love this Rose. I’m also equally impressed with the service I have received. As soon as I find another spot in my yard, I’ll order again.

If you’re a one trick pony, it had best be a good trick, which this one is. I look forward to May each year when she blooms for a week or two.

Nothing stops this rose! Our insurance company told us to whack down all our plants within 5 feet of the house. I had to cut this beauty way back but it sprouted brand new cans and this Spring is loaded with buds. The flowers are so gorgeous and the rose is hardy even after being under 5 ft of snow. Flowers will often be pure yellow as well as bright orange yellow.
