Floribunda (Alain Meilland, France, before 2018)
In Colorado, we take great pride in our beautifully colorful sunsets. Sunset Horizon will create the same feeling in your garden. Buds open to reveal bright yellow flowers that fade to deep pink and cherry red. Flowers are quite large when fully open and semi-glossy foliage has excellent disease resistance.

already had a bud on it. Nice size and even though UPS took several days longer than originally stated, they were still nice and moist. well packed. nice description card telling size, etc. this is very helpful when planting. I’ll definitely come back for more.

This rose is a real show stopper. Some might call it gaudy due to the multicolored brilliant colored flowers, but the brighter the better in my sunny Colorado garden. No fragrance but blooms like crazy.

My sheub is healthy, but still very very small after two growing seasons. I’ve ordered a second one for next year to see if it does better, and I tried moving my first one to a new spot. Both spots are on the south side of a fence, with not much shade, but the first one had no morning sun. I’m hoping that makes the difference. It put out new leaves a week after it was moved, so I’m pretty sure it’ll be fine. It’s gorgeous when it flowers, and I think we’ll worth the effort to figure out how to help it be happier. The Morden plants have generally been great for me.

I’ve had Sunset Horizon for two seasons. It’s about 5’ tall and 3.5’ wide, in a nice vase shape. The leaves are healthy and the plant blooms frequently, with these gorgeous technicolor blooms. It handles heat, humidity, too much rain, too little rain, and winter freeze-thaw cycles, planted in my clay soil. It’s a solid performer for me in zone 7b, and seems to need very little to fuel its excellent growth and flowers.

I bought mine 2 years ago. Absolutely gorgeous the way it changes colors. I’m going to get another one
