If there is a yellow rose that does not fade in super bright sunlight this is the one! Great fragrance and won’t stop blooming for me even when other roses have gone dormant!
Only downside withers away too fast for me and looks like a yellow petal carpet under the plant as it blooms in bunches! I can absolutely live with that for other things I like about it!

I have had this plant since 1980 when my first child was born. It has been dug up and moved so many times to different homes and different locations. Chopped to it’s roots. Messed up pruning, failed water sprinkler dried to the bone.. and she just keeps on going. Her bright yellow flowers never fade. She blooms anytime here in San Diego and is always the first to bloom after our January hard trim prunning of all of my roses. If you want an amazing rose that is easy to grow this would be great for a first time rose buyer. It will give you the love for roses… when you don’t like one you replace it. For me this rose has never been replaced.
